The wisdom, bravery and tenacity of Gina G has inspired millions; she will not be soon forgotten. But the path to genius was hardly smooth and tarmacked.

The message of the song Ooh, Ahh / Just a little bit was so powerful that, when it was first revealed to her, Ms G has no idea into which media she would mould it. Presented here for the first time is an early interpretation, intended to be a short, confusing film.

INT. THE CAR - DAY

T-ZONE is driving, and P-FRESH is supposed to be navigating,
except he's on the phone.

                   P-FRESH
             (on the phone)
You're my love, you're my sweetest
          thing. Don't shy away.

                    T-ZONE
              (wryly)
          Don't shy away.

                    P-FRESH
              (on the phone)
Every night makes me hate the days.
Can't get enough of your love!

T-Zone grabs the phone and throws it onto the back seat.

                    T-ZONE
Am I wrong? Am I so unkind?
              (beat)
          Show me the way.

P-Fresh turns to find the phone

                    T-ZONE (CONT'D)
          Don't turn away!

                    P-FRESH
I can't hide all these thoughts in
          my mind.

He finds the phone. T-Zone immediately snatches it and throws
it out the open window.

                    P-FRESH (CONT'D)
              (affronted)
          Every moment --

                    T-ZONE
          I'm just thinking of you.

P-Fresh picks up the coffee thermos, and pours what he thinks
is the last drop into a plastic cup.

                    P-FRESH
          Ooh.

                    T-ZONE
          Ah.

                    P-FRESH
          Just a little bit.

A tiny bit more comes out.

                    P-FRESH (CONT'D)
              (excited)
          Ooh!

The flow stops.

                    T-ZONE
          Ah. A little bit more.

They've just missed the exit for a Moto, with a Costa coffee
attached.

                    P-FRESH
          Ooh.

                    T-ZONE
              (annoyed)
          Argh!

P-Fresh passes him what's left of the coffee.

                    P-FRESH
          Just a little bit.

T-Zone taps the map.

                    T-ZONE
You know what I'm looking for!

                    P-FRESH
              (finding a services on the
               map)
          Ooh!

                    T-ZONE
          Ah!

                    P-FRESH
              (Pointing up the road)
          Just a little bit.

T-Zone is looking weak.

                    T-ZONE
              (weakly)
          Ooooh.

                    P-FRESH
              (panicing)
          Ah! Little bit more!

                    T-ZONE
              (weaker)
          Oooooooh.
              (recovering a bit)
          Ah.

P-Fresh offers him the last of the coffee.

                    P-FRESH
Just a little bit. I'll give you --

T-Zone's phone rings, and he answers it immediately.

                   T-ZONE
              (wryly)
          Love you can't ignore.

There's no one on the phone; he hangs up.

                    P-FRESH
              (calmly)
          Feeling good?

                    T-ZONE
          Let's go all the way.

They see a sign for MOTO, and Costa, at the next exit.

                    P-FRESH
              (wondrously)
          It's got to be...

                                                 CUT TO:

EXT. CAR PARK - DAY

The car screeches to a halt in the MOTO car park. The doors
don't open: the locks are dodgy.

INT. THE CAR - DAY

                    T-ZONE
              (shouting)
          SET ME FREE!

The doors pop open eventually, and they walk to the Costa in
silence.

INT. COSTA - DAY

T-Zone is flirting with THE BARISTA as they make the coffees.
P-Fresh arrives with a bag from a phone shop.

                    T-ZONE
-- but tonight, let my body say...

                    P-FRESH
              (whispering)
          Take it slow!

The barista almost drops the coffee.

                    T-ZONE
              (seductively)
          Don't let it go.

                                                 CUT TO:

INT. THE CAR - DAY

Back in the front seats, now with coffee. P-Fresh is on his
new phone.

                    P-FRESH
              (on the phone)
How can I prove my love to you,
          baby?

                    T-ZONE
              (sarcastically)
          Please.

                    P-FRESH
              (on the phone)
          You're all I...
              (they've hung up)
          Need.

T-Zone is smirking.

                    T-ZONE
          You're like a child.

                    P-FRESH
But it's more than a phase!

                    T-ZONE
              (instructively, sighing)
          Could act the angel...

                    P-FRESH
          But it wouldn't be true!

ANGLE ON: P-FRESH'S COFFEE LID.

T-Zone notices that P-Fresh's coffee lid isn't on properly.

                    T-ZONE
              (guesturing)
          Ooh!

                    P-FRESH
              (spilling coffee)
          Ahh!

Some of the coffee spills onto the map.

                    P-FRESH (CONT'D)
              (relieved)
          Just a little bit.

The lid still isn't on properly.

                    T-ZONE
              (guesturing)
          Ooh!

                    P-FRESH
              (spilling coffee)
          Ahh!

A lot of coffee spills onto the map, soaking it.

                    P-FRESH (CONT'D)
          A little bit more.

                    T-ZONE
              (resigned)
          Ooh.

                    P-FRESH
          Ah!

T-Zone looks at him questioningly.

                    P-FRESH (CONT'D)
          Just a little bit --

P-Fresh is rummaging in the glove box.

                    T-ZONE
              (interrupting)
          You know what?

                    P-FRESH
          I'm looking for...

T-Zone has to suddenly slam on the breaks. P-Fresh hits his
head. He sits up with blood on his head.

                    P-FRESH (CONT'D)
              (looking at the blood on
               his hand)
          Ooh!

                    T-ZONE
          Ahh, just a little bit.

P-Fresh flips down the mirror.

                    P-FRESH
              (sucking air)
          Ooh, ahh. Little bit more!

                    T-ZONE
              (mockingly)
'Ooh', 'ahh'. Just a little bit.

                    P-FRESH
              (angry)
          I'll give you --

His phone rings, and he answers it immediately.

                    T-ZONE
              (wryly)
          Love you can't ignore.

There's no one on the phone; he hangs up. Still covered in
blood.

                    P-FRESH
              (clearly concussed)
          What can you...

                    T-ZONE
          ...do?

                    P-FRESH
              (nodding)
          For me? Oh!

                    T-ZONE
              (dismissive)
          What can you do?

                    P-FRESH
          'Cause I feel so...

                    T-ZONE
          Alive?

                    P-FRESH
          I feel..

He passes out.

                    T-ZONE
              (suddenly concerned)
          You're --

                    P-FRESH
              (delirious)
Love inside, just a little bit!

                    T-ZONE
          ... A little bit?

                    P-FRESH
More! Just a little bit... just a
little. Just a little bit... just a
          little.

An ambulance can he heard in the distance: Whoo-o-whoo-o-whoo
oo

                    T-ZONE
It's the rhythm of my life!

Gina G went on to create several more epics, some of which were translated into major motion pictures. She is dead to me.
